The hotel's location is pretty close to the metro station, making it convenient for exploring the city center. The rooms have a comfortable and spacious bed, and the bathrooms are clean and well-appointed with tropical showers. The staff is friendly and accommodating, offering free drinks during the check-in process.
There was an odd smell in the room, and the staff's solution of simply opening the water tap was not satisfactory. there were some maintenance issues such as a crooked TV on the wall, marks on the walls, and a non-functional safe.

I had a fantastic stay at this unique hotel. The design of the old paper-mill is captivating, with steel girders and even a gantry crane incorporated into the interior. The polished black Carboniferous limestone walls and floor add an extra touch of elegance. The room itself was spacious and cool during the summer heat. The bathroom was well-equipped, with an extra bath on the mezzanine level, and the large bed ensured a comfortable night's sleep. The staff were incredibly helpful and made me feel welcome throughout my stay.
I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

I was initially impressed by the trendy and stylish reception area at Black Hotels. The concept of the hotel is unique and it immediately caught my attention. The guy at reception was polite, helpful, and efficient. He even offered me a complimentary refreshment, a nice touch.
I must mention the issue I encountered with the parking situation. The so-called secure carpark was a disappointment.

Cleanliness: The hotel was super clean, especially the bathroom which was excellent. Hotel facilities: The hotel had a modern design and offered a pleasant atmosphere. Location on the outskirts of the city center: The hotel was conveniently situated not far from both the S-bahn and u-bahn, making it easy to explore the city. Staff: The staff was friendly and accommodating, even offering us free drinks during check-in.
